starting 5th January 2020 These adult Ballet classes are for beginners, so if you always wanted to do ballet, or have done it many moons ago, this class is for you!
Please do not feel you need to be skinny or flexible to do this class! Participants are of all sort of shapes and sizes. We're just normal people, a very friendly bunch, who enjoy a bit of ballet on a Sunday morning :)
What to wear: comfortable exercise clothes such as leggings, t-shirt, jumper or cardi. If you don't have ballet shoes, you can try the class in socks and get shoes when attending on a regular basis. If you are thinking of buying new ballet shoes, I would recommend canvas split-soles. (Vegan options are available too!)
Requirements: You will need to be able to balance without support and have a basic sense of co-ordination. Taster Sessions for new students: From February, on the 1st Sunday of the month, 5 places will be available to try the class out. This is to maintain continuity for regular students. We also work on a routine from week to week, starting the first class of the month.
Taster Classes are for new students only to try the class. To continue with classes after your taster session, please purchase a class card.
