Are the classes suitable for pregnant participants?
If you have done Pilates before, it is usually fine to continue with your practice during your first trimester with a few modifications but be sure to inform me as soon as you know you are pregnant.
From your 2nd trimester onwards a specialised prenatal Pilates class is recommended as most of the general Pilates exercises would need to be modified. Currently, I only teach prenatal sessions on a 1:1 basis.

I've just had a baby. Can I join your general classes?

What level is right for me?
Level 1: If you've never done Pilates before, it is best to do the complete beginners course first (either the group or 1:1 sessions). This will give you the best foundation for your Pilates practice.
Level 2: After you've completed the Beginners Course (or have done at least 10 beginners level classes elsewhere) the improvers classes are the next level up. Here we continue to build upon what we have covered in the beginners course and work towards the intermediate level (Level 3).
Level 3: These classes are at intermediate/advanced and require sound knowledge of the Pilates technique and exercises covered in the Level 2 classes.
In all classes I offer easier and harder options.
If you are recovering from an injury, have any other conditions, or would like to gain confidence before joining a group class, initial 1:1 sessions would be ideal.
